Crocosmia 'Lucifer'

'Lucifer' is a clump-forming perennial with clusters of vivid red flowers on upright, arching stems in mid-summer. One of the earliest Crocosmia cultivars to flower, its blooms contrast beautifully with bright green, pleated sword-shaped leaves.

Ideal for sunny flower beds and borders, 'Lucifer' thrives in any reasonable, moisture-retentive but free-draining soil. Its tolerance of salt spray makes it an excellent choice for coastal gardens. A bold statement plant for adding hot colour and architectural interest to planting schemes.
