Dahlia 'Confusion'

A decorative type of Dahlia, 'Confusion' combines fully double flowerheads with mid-pink petals and central deep pink stripe with dark purple foliage. This elegant Dahlia was introduced by Hardy's after propagating it from a chance sport of Dahlia 'Fusion', hence its name.

As such it shares many of that Dahlia's attributes - prolific well-formed flowers that cut well for arrangement and versatility from great container plant to providing strong texture and colour in a border.  Deadhead regularly for long-lasting colour. This tuberous perennial thrives in humus rich, well-drained soil in full sun. In colder areas, lift, dry and store tubers frost free in autumn. In milder areas tubers can be left in but protect the crown with mulch.
