'Haresbrook' is an eye-catching Dahlia bearing vivid magenta single flowers with a bright gold-ringed red eye above bronzed leafy foliage. Regular deadheading will encourage more prolific flowering until stopped by the autumn frosts.
Forming part of the modern wave of bee and butterfly-friendly dahlias attracting new gardeners to this popular genus, it delivers pops of bright, cheery colour in a hot border and also makes a superb container plant. It thrives in fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil in full sun. In colder areas, lift, dry, and store tubers frost-free once autumn frosts have blackened the foliage. In milder areas, tubers can be left in the ground with the crown protected by a mulch.
