Plants are dispatched in growing condition and may not be in full flower. If too tall to pack safely, we may cut them back — this helps them establish more quickly. Read our Mail Order FAQs.
Unlike the annual forms of Diascia commonly used as summer bedding, ‘Hopleys’ is a true perennial, hardy through most of the UK (−10°C to −5°C). It is highly floriferous, producing masses of dusky pink flowers with dark red-pink centres on tall, upright stems clothed with glossy green leaves. Flowering begins in late spring and continues through summer into autumn.
A great choice for a small garden or terrace where plants must earn their place, it is equally at home in a herbaceous or mixed border. Grow in a sunny spot in moist but free-draining soil, and deadhead regularly to prolong flowering.
