Clusters of flower spikes bearing trumpet-shaped apricot flowers with golden throats and dark red spots appear above a low rosette of dark green foliage. This recently introduced Digitalis is a sterile hybrid, flowering its socks off for several weeks from mid-summer.
Plant it where you can enjoy its delicate and prolific display to the full — at the front of a border, or in a container around a favourite seating area. An excellent cut flower, it also looks wonderful planted in larger drifts within a woodland setting. It thrives in any fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in light shade or full sun.
