Echinacea 'Meditation White' PBR

E. Meditation White was a 2014 introduction.It has a dense and compact form and is very floriferous. The slightly reflexed, white petals surround a jaunty golden yellow cone that is a firm favourite with our beneficial pollinators.  Fantastic as a cut flower, the heads still look good after the petals have finally fallen.

Like all of its brethren it really dislikes lots of winter wet, so be sure to plant it in a reasonably free-draining soil. However, a big bonus is this one doesn’t mind part-shade or slightly heavier soils, so it can be used in a wider range of conditions than most other Echinacea.  

Easy to grow and drought tolerant once established, it needs very little work. Cut old stems to the base when the flowers have finished to encourage new growth. At the end of the season leave the remaining heads in place to provide winter nourishment for the birds. 

Perfect for containers, beds & borders, courtyard and patio displays and wildlife gardens.
