Echinacea purpurea 'Green Jewel'

'Green Jewel' produces its gorgeous lime green blooms in mid summer. The unusual shuttlecock like blooms contrast extremely well with yellows, reds and oranges.

The flowerheads last well into the autumn. Plant in a well-drained but moisture-retentive soil and a sunny situation. Suitable for coastal gardens. These plants look great in prairie style planting schemes or cottage gardens, it is important that you remember to give your Echinaceas plenty of space, they resent competition from other plants.
