'White Swan' produces shuttlecock-like flowerheads with white, gently reflexed petals surrounding a bold cone of toffee-orange. Tough, hardy, and easy to grow, this coneflower flowers from midsummer through to September with regular deadheading.
Retain some seedheads as they stand upright through winter and look striking dusted with frost. An excellent cut flower, it is also a great choice for a cottage or wildlife garden, attracting butterflies in summer and birds over winter.
It performs best in good, reasonably moist but well-drained soil in full sun.
