Epimedium grandiflorum produces beautiful large white flowers in mid spring just as the new foliage begins to emerge — the young leaves bronze-tinted at first, providing a striking contrast with the blooms above. As the season progresses, the leaves mature to a fresh mid-green, forming excellent ground cover beneath trees and shrubs.
Deciduous, with wonderful autumnal colour before the leaves fall, this Epimedium is remarkably versatile — tolerating dry shade where little else will grow, yet rewarding with both flowers and foliage interest across three seasons.
