Epimedium x versicolour 'Sulphureum'

A reliable and widely admired variety that forms large, weed-suppressing swathes of evergreen foliage under trees and shrubs, providing year-round interest. In mid-spring, dainty pale yellow flowers appear on slender arching stems above bronze-tinted young foliage — a charming combination.

Easy to grow and an excellent ground cover plant for shade, including dry shade. As with other evergreen barrenworts, it benefits from having the old winter foliage cut back before new growth emerges in spring.
