Eryngium × olivierianum 'Neptune's Gold' PBR

A new and totally unique introduction of Sea Holly - the foliage of this Eryngium is a brilliant golden colour , it will become lime green if slightly shady. The flower spikes, stems and flower bracts also start the season golden yellow, but then as the thistle cone starts to become blue the flower bracts and stems start to turn blue as well. 

'Neptune's Gold' provides great contrast within the flower border, equally it is a brilliant container plant for sun or very light-shade - it is also an excellent cut flower.
