This fabulous tall foliage plant is useful as a container plant or in the mixed border,  but remember that by the autumn it will be very tall. 

It's slightly tender ( Hardy between 1 & -5C ) and will require a small amount of protection through the winter but is easily propagated from cuttings. Performs best in a moisture-retentive but free-draining soil in sun or partial shade. A wonderfully tactile plant which would be fun to grow in a sensory garden.
