Euphorbia cyparissias

The delicate foliage and wonderful green yellow flower bracts are a lovely sight in spring. A very easy to grow ground covering perennial that is herbaceous and as such dies down below ground level for the winter.

It does spread quite rapidly by underground runners which can be easily pulled up to keep it in check, wear gloves when handling this plant and make sure that you don't get any sap in your eyes. It will grow in very poor soils and is good as ground cover under hedges. 

Harmful if eaten, the sap is an irritant to skin and eyes.
