Geranium clarkei (Purple-flowered Group) 'Kashmir Purple'

Large, saucer-shaped purple flowers appear throughout summer, held above mounds of attractive, deeply divided mid-green foliage.

Geranium clarkei spreads by creeping underground rhizomes, and 'Kashmir Purple' is particularly vigorous — making it ideal for covering large areas, suppressing weeds, or underplanting beneath roses and shrubs. It thrives in sun or partial shade in a wide range of well-drained soils. If you have a smaller garden, our less vigorous G. clarkei 'Kashmir White' may be worth considering.
