Geranium macrorrhizum 'Ingwersen’s Variety' produces soft pink flowers held high above a low mound of deeply lobed, highly aromatic, semi-evergreen pale green foliage throughout summer. In autumn the leaves take on attractive tints of bronze and red.

An RHS Award of Garden Merit holder, this is one of the most versatile and reliable hardy geraniums available. Its spreading habit makes it superb ground cover, and it is notably tolerant of dry shade — a genuine solution for those difficult spots under trees or along shaded borders. Happy in sun or shade in any reasonably fertile, well-drained soil.
