'Mavis Simpson' produces a continuous succession of soft shell-pink flowers with darker veins above a spreading mound of fuzzy, grey-green foliage. Beloved by many, it flowers from early summer right through to late autumn.
A natural scrambler, it looks wonderful sprawling over steps and the edges of paths, making pretty and effective ground cover that usefully suppresses weeds as it grows. An attractive addition to any rockery or gravel garden, it thrives in a sunny position in fairly fertile, free-draining soil.
