Geranium 'Orion'

‘Orion’ produces an abundance of large, bright violet-blue flowers with white centres and dark reddish-purple veins over deeply lobed, mid-green leaves. A firm favourite with gardeners, it flowers over a long period throughout summer.

Its striking violet-blue colour is fantastic for lifting and punctuating borders, and its spreading habit makes it excellent groundcover. A quick trim of faded flower stems and foliage in midsummer will encourage a further flush of bloom. It grows best in any free-draining soil with some richness to it, in full sun or partial shade.
