Geum 'Karlskaer'

Sprays of bright tangerine flowers that initially nod their heads before opening and straightening up, bob above tactile, slightly furry green foliage. An added bonus is that its foliage will gently clump up. Insect pollinators love it.

This charming Geum is perfect for a cottage garden, producing lots of cheerful flowers in early summer. Plant it in groups at the front of a border interspersed with dark purple tulips and lime green flowering plants to deliver a striking colour display. 'Karlskaer' thrives in any moist, fairly fertile soil and prefers a partially shaded to more sunny site.
