Geum 'Lady Stratheden' bears large, golden-yellow, semi-double flowers in sprays above clumps of mid-green, hairy foliage. Long-flowering, this cottage garden staple delivers intense pops of colour all summer long.
It adds delicacy and highlights to the front of a hot border and also looks wonderful in containers around a terrace. Remove faded flowers to promote a second flush of blooms in late summer. For best results, plant in a sunny site in any soil with reasonable drainage — it will not tolerate waterlogging.
