Geum 'Lady Stratheden'

'Lady Stratheden' bears large, golden yellow, semi-double flowers in sprays above clumps of mid green hairy foliage. Long-flowering, this cottage garden staple will deliver intense pops of colour all summer long.

It adds delicacy and highlights to the front of a 'hot' border but also looks wonderful planted in containers around a terrace.  Remove faded flowers to promote a second flush of blooms in the latter part of summer. To get the best results, plant it in a sunny site in any soil with reasonable drainage.  It will not tolerate being waterlogged.
