Plants are dispatched in growing condition and may not be in full flower. If too tall to pack safely, we may cut them back — this helps them establish more quickly. Read our Mail Order FAQs.
A cultivar of Geum rivale, 'Marmalade' bears single, ruffled, soft orange-flushed-with-copper flowers that initially nod before opening and lifting their heads above mounds of crinkled green foliage. Most attractive to bees and other pollinators.
With a dainty, naturalistic form, it is ideal for mass planting close to a stream or within a sunny woodland garden. Low maintenance and easy to grow, it also looks good planted in groups towards the front of a border. Its foliage clumps up quickly without being invasive and will help suppress weeds. It performs best in rich, free-draining soil in a sunny position.
