Semi double, bright orange, outward facing flowers with gently ruffled petals, dance on long hairy stems above green lobed basal foliage. One of our favourite plants for the RHS Chelsea display, it always attracts attention. As a sterile Geum, it enjoys a long flowering season from late April to late June.
A clear dutch orange colour, the flower heads really sing out against purples, blues and dark reds in the border. Just keep deadheading the spent flowers to promote fresh growth. Remove old stems completely once flowering finishes. 'Prinses Juliana' will thrive in full sun in a fertile, free draining soil.
