Helianthus giganteus

Commonly known as the giant or tall sunflower, bright yellow daisy-like flowers are held atop very tall stems, during late summer. Deep green-foliage covers the upright stems. This plant may need staking in exposed locations.

An architectural plant providing structure and height to borders and beds. Salt tolerant therefore suiting coastal locations. Helianthus need a sunny site and a fertile, well-drained alkaline to neutral soil to thrive.
