Helianthus 'Lemon Queen'

'Lemon Queen' is a perennial sunflower, with an upright, bushy habit. During late summer gorgeous pale lemon daisy-like flowers are held atop tall stems covered with dark green foliage, each flower has a dark yellow centre.

Sheltered conditions are a must for this sunflower. It thrives in sun in any reasonably fertile soil. The pH of the soil cannot be acidic. Support for the plant may be needed in exposed areas. This lemon beauty is perfect for the middle to back of borders and costal situations.
