Hemerocallis 'Corky' is a classic yellow daylily — an oldie but a goodie — with vibrant sunshine-yellow trumpet flowers on upright stems in mid-summer, each petal carrying an attractive bronze reverse. Its foliage is a fresh, grassy green.
Choose a sunny spot with good, moisture-retentive soil and 'Corky' will thrive in borders and beds, prairie plantings, or courtyard gardens. Cut back flower stems after flowering. Remove dead foliage as required, and divide every four to five years in late summer or autumn.
