Commonly known as Crimson Flag Lily, vibrant red star-like flowers appear during late summer and autumn. This vigorous clump-forming perennial has grass-like semi-evergreen, green foliage.
Hesperantha prefers sheltered locations in full sun and with a humus-rich, moisture-retentive soil. Perfect for stream or pond-side planting schemes or for adding some 'hot' late season colour to your flower beds and borders. H. 'Major' is also an excellent plant for cut flower.
