'Chocolate Ruffles' really lives up to its name, with ruffled, chocolate-coloured foliage and a purple underside to the leaves, providing year-round interest. Tall sprays of dainty pure white flowers appear in early summer.
This Heuchera works extremely well in rockeries, at the front of borders, or as ground cover beneath shrubs and roses. 'Chocolate Ruffles' is also happy in the salt-laden air of coastal gardens. It prefers well-drained, fertile soil but will cope with slightly moister conditions in sun or partial shade.
