Iris 'Jane Phillips'

A fantastic vanilla-scent exudes from the flowers of this elegant iris during late spring. Iris 'Jane Phillips' is a  rhizomatous perennial bearing pale blue flowers; the pale blue falls become white with golden veins leading towards a white beard. The sword-shaped foliage is a green/grey in colour.

'Jane Phillips' thrives in well-drained soil, in a hot sunny spot in flower beds or borders. The rhizomes can be divided from midsummer to autumn. 

All parts of this plant are toxic.
