A fantastic vanilla scent exudes from the flowers of this elegant iris in late spring. Iris 'Jane Phillips' is a rhizomatous perennial bearing pale blue flowers; the falls become white with golden veins leading towards a white beard. The sword-shaped foliage is grey-green.
'Jane Phillips' thrives in well-drained soil in a hot, sunny spot in borders and flower beds. The rhizomes can be divided from midsummer to autumn.
