Lathyrus vernus 'Cyaneus'

Lathryus vernus is commonly known as Spring Vetchling, this plant forms a dense clump of green pinnate foliage. Blue rounded pea like flowers open from purple buds.

L.v. 'Cyaneus' thrives in humus-rich, moist but free-draining soils in sun or dappled shade. A superb spring flowering under-planter for shrubs and roses. It will also look fantastic when planted towards the front of a flower border or bed.

All parts of the plant are toxic.
