Commonly known as Chilean Libertia, Libertia chilensis forms an impressive clump of linear, lance-shaped, Iris-like foliage at the base. Above the evergreen leaves, delicate white flowers appear on tall, wiry stems in late spring to early summer, providing year-round structural interest.
Best in reasonably fertile, well-drained soil in a sunny position. In spring, cut or pull out any old brown foliage to keep the clump looking its best.
