During summer, Lysimachia barystachys produces spikes of small, starry white flowers. As autumn approaches, the lance-shaped green foliage takes on a gorgeous yellow-orange hue.
This upright perennial will cope in most situations but is happiest in moisture-retentive soil in sun, where it will form large clumps. L. barystachys is eminently suitable for a wildlife garden or any expansive area that needs a vigorous grower.
