Lysimachia ciliata ‘Firecracker’ lives up to its name, producing nodding, star-shaped yellow flowers that contrast dramatically with its deep purple to copper-red, lance-shaped foliage throughout summer.
Grow in humus-rich, moist soil that does not dry out in summer, in full sun or partial shade. It is well suited to moist borders and waterside planting alongside ponds. Tall clumps may benefit from staking. Its flowers attract insects, making it a good choice for a wildlife garden.
