Plants are dispatched in growing condition and may not be in full flower. If too tall to pack safely, we may cut them back — this helps them establish more quickly. Read our Mail Order FAQs.
Nepeta racemosa ‘Walker’s Low’ is a vigorous, clump-forming Catmint with deep blue-mauve flower spikes above silvery, aromatic foliage on dark stems — a beautiful combination that speaks for itself.
Don’t be fooled by the name — ‘Walker’s Low’ is named after a place in Yorkshire where ‘Low’ means a hill, not a description of its height. It comes into flower in early summer and will keep going into autumn with regular deadheading. Worth knowing: its ultimate size depends on your soil. In poor, well-drained conditions it stays compact at around 60cm; give it richer ground and it will reach 90cm with a more relaxed, open habit. Either way, it is best placed in the middle of a sunny border.
Height × Spread: 60–90cm × 60cm
