A compact and floriferous perennial, Oenothera 'Ruby Ruby' produces dark pink, almost red flowers in profusion throughout summer, above attractive purple foliage that deepens to dark green as the season progresses. Bred here at Hardy's, it is ideal for the front of a border or a container in a sunny position, performing best in well-drained soil. Cut back to around 5cm in early spring to encourage fresh growth from the base.
Hardy throughout most of the UK, even in severe winters.
