Oenothera 'Rose Fan'

Tall, elegant and upright Oenothera 'Rose Fan' owes much in form and habit to one of its parents Oenothera sinuosa but boasts the palest pink starry flowers, each picked out with dark pink veining, influenced by its other parent Oenothera  lindheimeri 'Chiffon' . 

Bred here at our nursery as part of our ongoing Oenothera programme, we are particularly proud of its long flowering display and delicate hue.  Thread it through your sunny, free-draining border to add a transparent, delicate layer of colour or make it the centrepiece of a summer container perhaps combined with an ornamental grass such as Molinia or Stipa.  Either way it will flower from late June into late September for you.
