Commonly known as Wavyleaf Evening Primrose, Oenothera sinuosa is a tall, upright perennial whose elegant habit helps to show off its white flowers, produced in profusion all summer long. It is a great choice for the back of a sunny border.
It grows well in any reasonable soil in full sun. In late autumn, cut back to half height, then reduce further to approximately 10cm from the ground in mid-March to encourage a strong, bushy plant for the season ahead.
