Oenothera speciosa Twilight is a low, spreading perennial with narrow green leaves attractively marked with red. Lightly scented, large bowl-shaped flowers in soft pink-white appear throughout summer, opening in the evening and providing a long season of colour.

It thrives in full sun in well-drained soil and is notably drought tolerant — an excellent choice for sunny banks, slopes, and the front of borders where its spreading habit makes attractive ground cover.
