Origanum 'Kent Beauty' AGM

Origanum ‘Kent Beauty’ is an aromatic, semi-evergreen subshrub with spreading, trailing stems that produce tiny pink flowers among rosy-pink bracts throughout summer. The flowers are irresistible to bees — and the leaves are delicious sprinkled over melted mozzarella on a freshly baked pizza.

Best planted in alkaline, free-draining soil in full sun, it is rated H4 and hardy down to -10°C provided it is not left sitting in winter wet. Once established, it can be lifted and divided in spring.

Ideal for pots and containers, rockeries, gravel gardens, coastal, courtyard, and Mediterranean settings — or close to the kitchen of any keen cook.
