Paeonia lactiflora 'Mother's Choice' is a glamorous peony with stunning double cream blooms, a sensational pink flush and a delightful perfume. Unsurprisingly popular, it is of course the perfect present for Mother's Day, and superb for a cutting garden or flower beds and borders.
Remove spent heads once flowering is over; the foliage will die back in autumn. Tolerant of partial shade but best in full sun in a reasonably good, free-draining soil. When planting, take care not to plant too deeply as this will inhibit flowering.
