Penstemon ‘Flamingo’ bears bright pink, bell-shaped flowers with white throats throughout summer. This bushy, semi-evergreen perennial has lance-shaped green leaves.

Its long flowering season makes it a useful choice for flower borders and containers. It grows well in sun or light shade in reasonably fertile, well-drained soil.

Hardiness: H4 (−10°C to −5°C). Hardy through most UK winters. Provide winter protection in colder inland, upland or northern gardens; plants in pots are more vulnerable to frost.

Care Guide:
Deadhead regularly to encourage further flowering. Leave the top growth in place over winter to help protect the crown, then cut back hard in spring after the last frosts. Take soft-tip cuttings in early summer or semi-ripe cuttings in midsummer as insurance against winter losses.
