'Hidcote Pink' has racemes of gorgeous pink tubular flowers with dark pink and white-streaked throats. An easy-to-grow perennial and a great pollinator plant, this Penstemon flowers throughout the whole of summer. It has a bushy growth habit with stems bearing narrow, lance-shaped green foliage.
Keep deadheading as the flowers fade to encourage more blooms. Do not be tempted to cut this perennial down before winter — in spring, after the last frosts have passed, cut the plant back hard. Happy in any fertile, moisture-retentive, free-draining soil, in sun or partial shade.
