Penstemon ‘Osprey’ bears white, bell-shaped tubular flowers with delicate pink lips from summer into autumn. Glossy, ovate green leaves cover the stems of this clump-forming, semi-evergreen perennial.

It grows well in sun or partial shade in reasonably fertile, well-drained soil, and is suited to both borders and containers.

Hardiness: H3 (−5°C to 1°C). Half-hardy, suited to mild, sheltered gardens. Protect from early frosts and provide winter protection in colder areas.

Plant Notes:

  • Care Guide:

    Deadhead regularly to encourage further flowering. Leave the top growth in place over winter to help protect the crown, then cut back hard in spring after the last frosts. Take soft-tip cuttings in early summer or semi-ripe cuttings in midsummer as insurance against winter losses.
