Plants are dispatched in growing condition and may not be in full flower. If too tall to pack safely, we may cut them back — this helps them establish more quickly. Read our Mail Order FAQs.
'Pensham Victoria Plum' was bred by Edward Wilson of Pershore Plant Raisers and named after his daughter. This gorgeous Penstemon has sublime purple flowers with a stunning white throat with burgundy markings throughout the summer. It's a clump-forming perennial with semi-evergreen, lance-shaped narrow green foliage.
A fantastic plant for bees and other pollinators. Keep deadheading as the flowers fade to encourage more blooms. Do not be tempted to cut this perennial down before winter — in spring, after the last frosts have passed, cut the plant back hard. Happy in any fertile, moisture-retentive, free-draining soil, in sun or partial shade.
