Penstemon ‘Pensham Victoria Plum’ bears purple flowers with white throats marked with burgundy throughout summer. This clump-forming, semi-evergreen perennial has narrow, lance-shaped green leaves.
Bred by Edward Wilson of Pershore Plant Raisers and named after his daughter, it grows well in sun or partial shade in fertile, moisture-retentive soil with good drainage.
Hardiness: H4 (−10°C to −5°C). Hardy through most UK winters. Provide winter protection in colder inland, upland or northern gardens; plants in pots are more vulnerable to frost.
