In mid summer 'Mount Fuji' bears panicles of pure white fragrant flowers on tall stems, above narrow lance-shaped foliage. This Phlox's perfumed blooms are perfect for a sensory garden.
It is a 'must have' plant for a white garden. 'Mount Fuji' is quite happy in any reasonably good soil as long as it does not become too dry during summer, in either sun or partial shade. Keep deadheading this perennial to prolong flowering. A mulch of well rotted manure or garden compost will help to invigorate growth.
