Polemonium 'Blue Pearl'

Polemonium 'Blue Pearl' is a compact, low-growing form of Jacob's Ladder — quite different in habit from the taller, more upright varieties most commonly grown. It forms a neat, spreading mound of fresh, pinnate foliage, with clusters of dainty, fragrant sky-blue bell-shaped flowers, each with contrasting white anthers, held above in early summer.

A superb plant for the front of a border or as ground cover at a path edge, it thrives in full sun or partial shade in any fertile, moist but well-drained soil. Bees and other pollinators find it irresistible.
