Commonly known as Solomon's Seal, Polygonatum × hybridum is a wonderful plant for spring. Its arching stems bear fresh green, oval foliage, and dainty cream tubular flowers with green tips appear in pairs during late spring.
A superb choice for shady borders with humus-rich soil, it is ideal for underplanting trees. It benefits from a sheltered location and can be divided in spring.
