A low mound of hirsute, green strawberry-like foliage provides the perfect foil for the clusters of large, bright yellow saucer-shaped flowers which appear during the summer.
This is a useful edging plant, especially along walkways and towards the front of the border. It can also be employed as ground cover on banks and slopes. Performs best when planted on a sunny site with well-drained soil. An easy to grow perennial which once established will tolerate periods of drought.
