Potentilla x hopwoodiana

This Potentilla's gorgeous pale apricot-pink saucer-shaped flowers burst onto the scene during the summer. The blooms contrast well with the green foliage, which has prominent veins.

This perennial was discovered in 1829 and is a traditional variety which has graced many gardens. Potentilla x hopwoodiana is not too fussy about the soil type - just ensure you pick a sunny or dappled shade area in your garden. A great perennial for your borders.
