Commonly known as Staghorn Cinquefoil, Potentilla × tonguei has beautiful saucer-shaped apricot-orange flowers with a gorgeous red eye, appearing throughout summer above dark, palmately divided foliage.
A lovely perennial for hot borders and a superb low ground cover in sunny spots. It performs best in free-draining, fertile soil and is particularly well suited to rock gardens and gravel gardens.
