Commonly known as Staghorn Cinquefoil, Potentilla x tonguei has beautiful saucer-shaped apricot-orange flowers with a gorgeous red eye. The flowers appear during summer over dark palmately-divided foliage.
A gorgeous perennial to use in 'hot' borders, and a superb ground cover plant, which thrives in sunny areas. It performs at its best when grown in a free-draining, fertile soil. Rock gardens and gravel gardens are perfect for this vigorous perennial.
