Commonly known as Giant Cowslip, Primula florindae is native to Tibet. Broad oval leaves form a neat rosette at the base of tall, slender stems, which bear large clusters of dainty, nodding, yellow bell-shaped flowers with a wonderful fragrance.
A beautiful choice for perfumed and wildlife gardens alike. It prefers moist, acidic to neutral soil alongside watercourses or in bog conditions, in sun or partial shade. Divide clumps in spring to increase your stock.
