Commonly known as Lungwort, Pulmonaria 'Blue Ensign' produces wonderful clusters of delicate gentian-blue flowers in spring. This strong-growing perennial has broad, lance-shaped green foliage that acts as the perfect foil for its beautiful blue flowers.
Best in a moisture-retentive, humus-rich soil in partial shade. Woodland settings are ideal — plant beneath deciduous trees and shrubs or at the edges of shady borders.
